DENNIS ROTH, PT, Owner
is a native of St. Charles, Missouri and graduate from Washington University School of Medicine (St. Louis, Missouri). After performing his internship at St. John's Sports & Rehabilitation in St. Louis, he founded and is co-owner of St. Charles Sports & Physical Therapy in August of 1986. Presently there are 4 locations located throughout St. Charles County.
Dennis Roth is a member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) and Board Certified in the State of Missouri specializing in Sports & Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He has attended a variety of educational courses over the years, relating to his field in physical therapy. He is also a member of "Sports St. Charles" and has worked with members of the St. Louis Baseball Cardinals, U.S. Professional Golf Association, U.S. Senior Professional Golf Association, St. Louis Steamer Soccer Team, Missouri River Otter's Hockey Team, St. Louis Soccer Club (formally Busch Soccer Club) as well as many local High School Athletes.
His interest consist of spending time attending his children's sporting events, physical fitness, traveling, playing golf with his wife, family and friends and has a true passion to help people. He was born and raised in St. Charles, Missouri with his wife Cindy, and his two children Erin and Alex.
DAVE BORTFELD, PT, Owner
is also a native of St. Charles Missouri and graduate of St. Charles High School. He received his therapy training at the University of Missouri Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of General Studies/Business. Mr. Bortfeld began his career at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles before branching out into outpatient orthopedic therapy.
As co-owner of St. Charles Sports and Physical Therapy since 1990, he continues to use his twenty plus years of experience with patient care and practice management. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Board certified in the State of Missouri with specialization in Sports Orthopedics and Shoulder rehab.
Outside interests include spending time with his wife, Janet and three children, staying active in his church and enjoying a variety of sports.
MONIKA WILSON, Business Director
Monika joined our professional staff in 1992 bringing with her many years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has a vast knowledge and background in medical management, teaching and orthopedic medicine, having worked with physicians and patients both in the St. Louis and St. Charles communities.
With her leadership abilities Monika has put together a very dedicated and patient oriented staff. She has passed along to them her strong convictions for quality, cost effective patient care. She is able to keep current on our ever-changing industry and manages all four physical therapy locations with care and commitment. Monika sees to all business matters as well as patient and employee concerns.
When she is not busy tending to business details or working with insurance companies, Monika loves to spend time with her family and to travel. One can usually find her involved in church activities, fly-fishing or enjoying her time doing volunteer work with the Missouri Department of Conservation or being a volunteer coach at Lindenwood University.
